Create Brand Advocates with these 3 Customer Loyalty Mobile Apps

Creating brand advocates can be a daunting task. But, thanks to new technology, it’s now easier than ever. By using mobile apps, companies can leverage technology to engage their customers and help create brand advocates. Neil Patel speaks of brand advocates as basically volunteer marketing reps that are writing, sharing and building awareness about your business on social media.

I want to take Neil’s thoughts one step further and help you create these brand advocates by using a customer loyalty mobile app. This post will review my favorite three mobile apps for creating brand advocates and building customer loyalty: Loyal Blocks, Belly App, and Stamp Me.

Loyal Blocks

Loyal Blocks bills itself as an all-in-one, automatic loyalty marketing solution. The application lets your business create a loyalty program, automatically manage ‘punch cards’ or incentives, and tracks all your customers in a simple, intuitive dashboard.

It works by simply placing a LoyalBlocks Base Station at your store, then as customers come through your store, they automatically get rewarded. Whether it be a free coffee for their 8th visit or a 20% discount, you can choose the incentive.

I really like the simplicity of Loyal Blocks combined with its customizability. As a merchant, you can get everything set up super quickly, customize the experience to align with your brand, and boom, you’ve got yourself a customer loyalty program that you can start using to find and create brand advocates.

Loyal Blocks offers a free plan to get started and you pay per the number of members your loyalty club accumulates. The company wants to give people a good way to sample the product first, while still helping them improve customer retention and walk-ins.

Loyal Blocks Pricing

According to Loren Pomerantz, a spokesperson for LoyalBlocks, it’s a small price to pay for the benefits the app will bring to stores.

“It’s easier to keep customers and to get customers with this app,” she said. “There is a lot of competition out there, and you as a retailer want customers to feel valued. It is worth it for every merchant to reward them for the loyalty.”

Here’s what Joanna Braunold, Loyal Blocks Community Manager, had to share with us about their product:

“LoyalBlocks is a great way to get your customers involved in your business and build a personal relationship with each and every one. Customized notifications, along with our just-walk-in approach, makes rewarding your customers as easy as it can be. Our aim is to make the end users’ experience as simple as possible, giving them more reasons to come back, buy more, and share with their friends.”

Belly App

Belly App can not only help you create brand advocates, but does so much more. From looking at all the solutions available, Belly App is in my opinion the most thorough, and goes well and beyond just customer loyalty.

The loyalty app, built for businesses, does a fantastic job at connecting your customers across it’s mobile , email and social media sites, to give you a full-circle approach to customer loyalty.

So why do I think Belly App is the best loyalty program for creating brand advocates?

  • Offers incentives and rewards that are customizable
  • Drives repeat engagement via email campaigns
  • Leverages their ‘Belly members’ to reach new advocates
  • Enables customers to share the word via integrations with Yelp and Facebook
  • Connects with mobile apps so you can reach advocates wherever they are
  • Has an amazing backend dashboard that gives you all the reporting and analytics your brain can handle.
  • Quickly track customer activity and identify potential brand advocates

Stamp Me

Stamp Me is like your traditional punch card, but on a mobile platform. This loyalty mobile app is by far the simplest of the three I looked at, and I think that’s why I liked it so much. Stamp Me puts the ‘Buy 5 get 1 Free’ style cards onto your customers iPhones and Android devices while helping you track analytics, communicate to them via email and SMS, and attract new customers via local search and social media.

You can use Stamp Me along side any other marketing initiatives and they make it super easy for your customers to join.

I couldn’t find any information on pricing, so I’d say it’s a more customized solution depending on your needs. I recommend you request more information here to learn more about their pricing structure.

Final thoughts and recommendations

At the end of the day, I think you first need to know who your potential brand advocates might be, and what sort of platform they would like to use. All three customer loyalty mobile apps I reviewed will help you engage your most v
aluable and happiest clients, so that overtime you can nurture and create brand advocates out of them.

For me, I really like Belly App. I think that since they’ve really focused on managing the customer over all forms of media (real life, mobile and email), that gives them the edge of the other two. Furthermore, Belly App has some great reporting and analytics that can help you measure customer loyalty and track your most influential brand advocates.
